Now is the time to join Romanby
The club has a thriving membership and provides both social and
competitive golf and practice facilities. The practice facilities
also extend to the 6-hole academy course (included in the membership
fee) and a 12-bay floodlit driving range. Three PGA professionals
are on hand to offer teaching and tuition.
Members' benefits
As well as the ability to play
competitive golf and hold an official handicap certificate, there
are many more benefits of being a member. Advance booking
facilities, the ease and flexibility of playing rights and the
one-off payment are the main attractions. Discounts in the Country
Club also allow you to save a little each
time you visit the club and we are keen to promote club activities.
Like most golf clubs the length and breadth of Britain, visitors
also play a huge role in providing financial stability to the
facility. This is an area that Romanby is very successful at and
through careful tee planning most sectors of the community can enjoy
the facilities.
Please use your members advance booking privilege to secure your
playing times, similarly a quick courtesy call to the Pro Shop,
should you need to cancel your reservation, ensures that your tee
time can be re-allocated to another player no matter how late in the
day.
Registering at the Pro Shop before you commence your game is
essential to allow us to calculate members’ uptake and usage and
thus provide the relevant course space. It also helps should anyone
need to contact you whilst you are out on the course.
The strong bond between the Club and the Course is cemented by
regular management meetings between your Club Captain and the Course
Director, both parties are keen to strengthen the Club’s ongoing
activities. Help us to help you to strengthen your club. New members
are always welcome and your help would be appreciated in bolstering
our numbers.
Contour – shape the way you play golf

Golf and Country Club, regular offers will be posted in the

the most efficient and cost effective golf course possible. Our

maintain the same high standards in the future.
